Through hackathons we hope to encourage beginners to learn in a fun and open environment and for professionals to think outside the scope of their daily routines and lives. Together, beginners and professionals can learn from each other to develop technological solutions to real world problems.
Eco-responsibility for organizations is our theme for this year's BUHACK hackathon. Our goal is to help organizations like Bishop's University with their sustainability plans and goals through technological solutions.
Anyone with the enthusiasm for coding can attend this hackathon. The hackathon is for all age groups and for all the coders.
You can use the language of your choice as long as your project respects our rules. Don’t forget to consult the evaluation criteria to ensure that you obtain as many points as possible.
No, we do not provide computers. We suggest that you find a laptop and prepare it beforehand so it contains all the development tools that you plan to use.
You can form your own team or join an existing team during the 5 à 6 opening event on Tuesday evening. Don’t worry, you’ll find a team!
